Week 2: #3

I think the story Beowulf is alright so far. I find it pretty easy to understand. The way the language is and how it is written makes it a little confusing. Also the fact that it is a poem makes it difficult to completely understand what is going on in the story. Some reading strategies I would use would be to read it in my head prior to me reading it outloud. It helps me prepare and understand it better.

Week 2: #2

My favorite superhero is Spiderman. He has the ability to climb up walls and buildings. He can also swing from any object by flinging his spiderweb out of his wrist. He helps out people who are in distress and saves anyone and everyone. He is loyal to the public and they trust and believe in him to save their lives. The word hero to me means someone special that is always looking to make other peoples lives better over there own.

Week 1: #1

I think a good leader should have a good outlook on life and be able to take charge of different situations. Also to have qualities such as determination, honesty, and be caring. A leader should be an all around good person and respect themselves and others. Leaders in my life would include my friends and family. I can always rely on them to be there and to help me out in tough situations.
